HANK VALON

Hank Valon is the pseudonym of a writer who has a real name shared by several noted writers.  As Hank writes in a less serious vein he felt a pseudonym was necessary to avoid confusion.  Basically he is a hillbilly minus the red neck.  He has a B.S Ed. Degree, but has never had a teaching contract.  As an avid history student he has spent his life studying history.  He belongs to The Cass County Historical Society, The Cass County Civil War Round Table, The Missouri State Historical Society.  He belongs to The Western Writers of America, The Osage Valley Vigilantes, (an Old West Reenactor Group) The Knights of Columbus, and the National Rifle Association.  He is a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  At the end of 2004 he had one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.  Thanks to some very good doctors he now has two artificial valves in his heart and a pacemaker wired to it.  Barring unforeseen accidents he has a prognosis of possibly another thirty years on this planet.  He hopes to produce a lot of writing in that time.  He prefers Westerns and Science Fiction.  Occasionally he dabbles in other genres.
